Equipment Rental Insurance

The cost to rent equipment can seem like a pretty penny but it's worth it to get your project completed at a flat rate. How often is the cost for rental insurance considered? Is it just a gimmick to get more money spent? What are the chances that the insurance will actually get used? So many questions for such a little additional cost.

For starters, the rental insurance usually covers any damages caused by the renter, the outdoor elements or other unforeseen events out of the renter's control. The damages can include floating away in a flood, someone without authorized use vandalising your rental, the rental blown away by a tornado, a worker running it over on accident or the rental being stolen.

Unfortunately, you can't just apologize to the company you rented the equipment from and be on your way. You usually have to pay for the damages caused which can run from hundreds, to thousands, to hundreds of thousands of dollars, especially if the equipment has to be completely replaced. What does the rental insurance fee cost? Insurance fees can be as low as five dollars to maybe fifty dollars. Much better than paying out of pocket for renting a piece of equipment that will never be owned by the renter.

Remember, rental insurance is to protect the equipment and a consideration for the renter that never knows when the unfortunate event may occur!

The Truth About the Blue

Every portable toilet has it, the blue stuff. Over dramatic commercials or comedy skits show a portable toilet exploding or falling over and the blue stuff all over the patron inside. So what is it?

Keep in mind that a portable toilet does not flush, so there has to be an alternative to keep the bodily fluids and solids at a sanitary and deodorized tolerable level over the period of time until the portable toilet is to be serviced next. The blue liquid does just that, keeps the toilet sanitized and deodorized.

The blue liquid is the updated and improved alternative to the past use of formaldehyde. There are some instances where a formaldehyde based deodorizer is used but most portable toilet services have turned to  more biodegradable and environmentally friendly formulas. These newer formulas even have beneficial enzymes and microbes that feed off the bacteria left behind by patrons, causing odors to diminish. There are also formulas that help decompose the matters left behind in the liquid much faster causing less trips for the toilets to be serviced.

The next time you're using a portable toilet and see the blue liquid, remember that it is always hard at work with a purpose to make your potty usage more pleasant!

It's all about the Red, White and Blue

Fireworks, barbeque, and freedom! That's how we celebrate our nation's freedom. Just remember to be safe and have fun! The Fourth of July is our date to celebrate independence from British rule. In 1776 the Declaration of Independence was created and signed to break the original 13 colonies to their own laws. It was a glorious day for the the founding fathers and the people of the original colonies.

Today, we continue these celebrations with plays, parties, carnivals, fireworks and lots of food. The appreciation for Fourth of July goes far beyond what the founding fathers could have imagined. Because of all their hard work and fight for the people they so proudly believed in, we get to continue living our best lives with our dreams coming true.
